Backyard Birding Tips

Keep your Feeders Clean!

Keep your Feeders Clean!

Keep your Feeders Clean!

We Can not stress it enough to keep a clean area to ensure a happy and healthy birding environment.

Provide Water

Keep your Feeders Clean!

Keep your Feeders Clean!

Birds rely on both food and water. So providing both gives our avian friends food, drink and a bath at times to enjoy on hot and cold days. And how about those cold days? Running water has less chance of freezing and a heated water bath is even better! Just make sure to keep the water clean.

Bird Seed

Keep your Feeders Clean!

We will be adding more Tips very soon!

Bird Feeders with dry seed should be cleaned monthly. Hummingbird feeders should be changed and cleaned weekly(3-5 Days). By cleaning with 9 parts water to one part bleach, you can help prevent bacteria that is harmful to birds.
